Research InTrest
My research focuses on paleo-oceanography with an emphasis on the North Pacific, ocean circulation, and temporal and spatial changes in primary biological production, and climate since the Miocene. I investigate these changes using manganese crusts and sediments as archives, focusing on the distribution of trace metals and the isotopic composition of Nd, Ba, Fe, and Cu.
