Research interests
- Age-depth modelling methods
- Statistical analysis of paleoclimate database
- Glacial-interglacial climate variability
- Interdisciplinary climate impact studies
Carla is writing her master’s thesis in the STACY working group at the Institute of Environmental Physics. As part of her thesis, she is implementing and comparing various
statistical methods (e.g. regression, Bayesian) for age-depth modelling of the global speleothem database SISAL and investigating the relation of speleothem growth rate changes to climate variability.
