Our group uses atmospheric transport models to study the carbon cycle and support mitigation.

We focus on soil hydrology, solute transport as well as the characteristics of chaotic, complex, and evolving environmental systems, emphasizing the use of numeric models.

The Visual Learning Lab Heidelberg works at the intersection of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with application to environmental physics.
