Research interests
Moritz is a Physics Master Student and student assistant in the STACY group. He is investigating potential impacts of negative emission technologies on climate, the carbon cycle, and the biosphere using the MPI-Earth System Model. He also contributes to the development of statistical methods and software tools for paleodata analysis and model-data comparison. Moritz has further interests in understanding long-term climate dynamics and variability, in sea ice dynamics and modelling, and in the theory of complex systems.
