
Sanam Vardag has been awarded the teaching award of the Physics & Astronomy department for her excellent tutorials supporting the "Experimental Physics" classes (PEP1 and PEP2) and for her seminar "Climate Physics in Action". Despite the COVID-19 restrictions, Sanam has managed to spark enthusiasm for physics and, in particular, for environmental physics among students on the beginners and advanced level. Sanam's passion for science and teaching and teaching science is certainly key to make young scientists discover their complex environment with an eye on physics principles, interdisciplinary linkages, and societal challenges.
