MarHal is a "Nachwuchsgruppe" (junior research group) funded by the DFG in the framework of the Emmy-Noether Programme. Our overall research goal is to investigate:

• tropospheric halogen chemistry and
• photochemical processes in the marine troposphere

and their importance for our climate and the chemistry of our atmosphere. The group was started in Heidelberg and has now partly moved to Norwich where its main centre now is.
